Lavi International Security & Training was founded in 1998 by Amir Lavi.
Amir’s security background is from training in the IDF special commando forces and anti-terror unit, where he was an instructor and member of the special VIP protection unit for Ehud Barak. After completing a full service in the IDF, Amir was transferred to Central America by a private security company. There he trained private executive protection agents and participated with teams specializing in kidnap negotiation.
Over the next few years in Central America, mainly Guatemala and Mexico, Amir's main projects consisted in training 1000 police officers and building three SWAT teams for the Mexican police. He also trained three different VIP protection teams for Mexican Governors.
Continuing to work in Israel, for more than 10 years Amir has managed several large international events in Jerusalem for well known Christian organizations. He has also coordinated the security of different Israeli Prime Ministers, the Israeli President and the Mayor of Jerusalem.
Lavi Security professional staff includes former senior members of various Israeli security organizations and law enforcement agencies, such as elite combat and intelligence units of the Israel Defense Forces and the Israeli General Secret Service (Shabak)
